Stay close to the day you have
For the summit, look at Trade Centre, Sheikh Zayed Road, Downtown, and Business Bay. For the expo days, consider Expo City and Dubai South, or a well-connected area if you prefer to stay in one hotel all week.
A simple planning example while you compare areas is 1 room, 1 adult, with check-in on 6 December 2026 if you want a calm start before the summit on 7 December. This site does not name hotels or quote nightly rates. Pick the area first, then book with a seller you trust.
Summit base, 7 December
Look at Trade Centre, Sheikh Zayed Road, Downtown, and Business Bay. The summit is at Dubai World Trade Centre. World Trade Centre station on the Red Line serves the summit. Official visitor guidance says DXB to DWTC is about 20 minutes by metro and about 15 minutes by taxi.
Expo base, 8 to 11 December
Consider Expo City and Dubai South. GITEX GLOBAL Expo is at Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, from 8 to 11 December. Expand North Star is at the same centre from 8 to 10 December.
One hotel all week
A well-connected neighbourhood can cover the whole week if you would rather not switch hotels. Budget transfer time on the mornings you cross the city. This guide does not publish a minute count for that ride.
